Our driver meets you and takes you to your hotel, about 20–30 minutes. Check-in is usually from 3:00 pm. In the late afternoon, an easy walk through the old town: Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmat riverside, Lindenhof hill and the Grossmünster church. Dinner is…
  2. Rhine Falls · Transfer to Lucerne — After breakfast and check-out, drive about 45 minutes north to the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. Walk the viewing platforms at Schloss Laufen (small entry fee, paid locally); the boat to the rock in the middle of the falls is optional and runs mainly from April to October. Continue to Lucerne, about 1.5 hours, and check in. Spend the evening by the lake near the Chapel Bridge.
  3. Lucerne city tour · Optional Mount Titlis or Pilatus — After breakfast, a guided walk of about 2 hours: the Chapel Bridge and Water Tower, the old town squares, the Jesuit Church and the Lion Monument. The rest of the day is free. Optional at extra cost: Mount Titlis (from Engelberg, about 45 minutes away) with the rotating Rotair cable car, glacier cave and Cliff Walk, or Mount Pilatus by the world's steepest cogwheel railway (cogwheel runs about…
  4. Lucerne to Interlaken over the Brünig Pass — After breakfast, travel to Interlaken on the Luzern–Interlaken Express route over the Brünig Pass, about 2 hours, passing Lake Sarnen, Lake Lungern and Lake Brienz. Check in at your hotel in Interlaken. In the afternoon, walk along the Höhematte meadow and the Aare river. Optional at extra cost: the Harder Kulm funicular for a sunset view over both lakes.
  5. Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe — After breakfast, the included Jungfraujoch excursion: train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald Terminal, the Eiger Express cable car to Eigergletscher, then the Jungfrau Railway through the Eiger to Jungfraujoch at 3,454 m, about 2 hours each way. At the top, see the Sphinx terrace and Aletsch Glacier, the Ice Palace and the snow plateau. Walk slowly, as the air is thin. Return by late…
  6. Lauterbrunnen valley · Optional Grindelwald First — After breakfast, a short drive of about 20 minutes to the Lauterbrunnen valley, with its 72 waterfalls, to see Staubbach Falls close to the village. Trümmelbach Falls inside the mountain is optional and open only from about April to early November. The afternoon is free. Optional at extra cost: Grindelwald First with the Cliff Walk, or a boat ride on Lake Brienz to the village of Iseltwald.

Visa & entry

Switzerland is in the Schengen area, so Indian passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa, applied for at the Swiss visa centre run by VFS Global. Apply up to 6 months and at least 3–4 weeks before travel. The visa fee is €90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6–11 (children under 6 are free), plus the VFS service charge. You will need confirmed flights and hotels, travel insurance with at least €30,000 medical cover, recent bank statements and income tax returns. Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your return date, have two blank pages and be less than 10 years old. Since April 2026 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is fully in use at Swiss airports and other Schengen borders: fingerprints and a face photo are taken on your first entry instead of a passport stamp. ETIAS applies only to visa-free nationalities, so Indian visitors with a Schengen visa do not need it; its launch has also moved to 2027.

Good to know

Questions travellers ask

Is Mount Titlis included?

No. This package includes Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe. Mount Titlis is optional from Lucerne on Day 3 at extra cost, and we can add it when you book.

Is Jungfraujoch safe for elderly parents?

Most healthy seniors manage it well, as the trip is by train and cable car with little walking. At 3,454 m the air is thin, so people with heart, blood pressure or breathing conditions should check with their doctor first.

Will we get vegetarian and Indian food?

Yes. Dinners can be arranged at Indian restaurants, and Swiss hotels serve bread, cheese, cereals, fruit and yoghurt at breakfast. Tell us about Jain food when you book.

Can we see snow in summer?

Yes. Jungfraujoch has snow and ice all year, and Mount Titlis (optional) also has snow in summer. Lower valleys are green from May to October.

Do we need a Swiss visa separately?

No. Switzerland is part of the Schengen area, so you apply for a Schengen visa at the Swiss visa centre. It also lets you visit other Schengen countries during its validity.
