Good to know
Drinking alcohol on beaches and in other public places is not allowed in Goa. The 2026 tourism order sets fines from ₹5,000 to ₹1 lakh for public drinking, unlicensed beach parties, littering and buying tickets from touts.
Go only to licensed clubs and events. After the December 2025 nightclub fire at Arpora, the state has been inspecting clubs and sealing those without fire or building approvals, so the list of open venues can change. Ask us before you go.
Never drink and drive, and do not swim at night or after drinking. Use licensed taxis or the GoaMiles app late at night.
Club entry and cover charges are usually higher for men and on weekends, and much higher around Christmas and New Year.
Baga and Calangute have plenty of vegetarian and North and South Indian restaurants open late.
UPI and cards work almost everywhere; keep some cash for beach shacks and taxis.
Questions travellers ask
Is club entry included?
No. Entry, cover charges and drinks at Tito's, Mambo's and other clubs are paid by you, so you can choose where to go each night. Charges vary by night and season.
Is Club Cubana open?
Club Cubana, on the hill at Arpora, has opened and closed over the years depending on licences. We check its status, and that of other clubs, for your travel dates before you go.
Is the sunset cruise a party boat?
No. It is a one-hour public river cruise from Panjim with Goan folk music and dances on deck. Late-night party cruises and casino boats are separate and paid by you.
How do we get back to the hotel late at night?
Tito's Lane is walking distance from the hotel. For Anjuna or Vagator, use a licensed taxi or the GoaMiles app; the package vehicle is for the day's sightseeing only.
Does the price include flights?
No. We can book flights from Vijayawada or Hyderabad separately and send you a combined quote.
