Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive Malé · Transfer to your resort — On arrival at Velana International Airport, Malé, clear immigration (show your IMUGA QR code), then meet the resort representative in the arrivals hall. Your transfer is by speedboat (usually 20–60 minutes for resorts in the Malé atolls) or by seaplane (about 30–60 minutes), depending on the resort; seaplanes fly only in daylight. Check in to your villa with a welcome drink and fruit basket. The…
House reef snorkelling and lagoon time — After breakfast, collect your snorkelling gear and join the resort's reef briefing, which covers safe entry points and currents. The house reef often has reef fish, turtles and small reef sharks. In the afternoon, take out a kayak or paddleboard, both included. Lunch, dinner and house drinks are covered at the restaurants and bars named in your all-inclusive plan; premium drinks and some…
Optional diving or a first try at scuba — Today suits a visit to the resort's dive centre (optional, paid locally). Certified divers can book guided boat dives to nearby reefs and channels, and non-divers can try a Discover Scuba session: a pool lesson with an instructor followed by a shallow dive on the reef, with no certificate needed. If you prefer to stay above water, relax on the beach or snorkel again. Do not dive within 18–24…
Free day · Optional sandbank or sunset cruise — A free day at the resort. Optional excursions, booked and paid at the resort, include a sunset dolphin cruise, a sandbank picnic, snorkelling trips to nearby reefs, sunset fishing and motorised water sports such as jet-ski or parasailing. Many guests keep this day for the spa; book treatments a day ahead for your preferred time.
Last full day at the resort — Spend the day as you like: a last snorkel on the house reef, a paddle across the lagoon, or a quiet afternoon on your deck. If you dived earlier in the week, keep today free of diving so you meet the no-fly time before tomorrow's transfer. Watch the sunset before your final dinner at the resort.
Departure from Malé — Have breakfast and check out. Check-out is usually at noon, and the resort times your speedboat or seaplane transfer to your flight; lunch may be included if your transfer is in the afternoon, depending on the resort's plan. Plan to reach Velana International Airport at least 3 hours before an international departure. The Maldives departure tax is normally included in your airline ticket.

Visa & entry
Indian passport holders do not need a visa in advance. A free tourist visa is given on arrival, normally for up to 30 days. At immigration you need a passport valid for at least one month beyond your stay (we recommend six months), a confirmed return ticket, a confirmed and paid resort booking for your full stay, and enough funds for the trip. Every traveller must also fill in the free IMUGA Traveller Declaration online (imuga.immigration.gov.mv) within 96 hours before the flight lands and show the QR code; no declaration is needed to leave.
Good to know
Resorts charge a green tax of USD 12 per person per night (children under 2 are exempt), plus 17% tourism GST (T-GST) and usually a 10% service charge on extras. These are not part of the package price and are shown separately in your quote.
'All-inclusive' differs between resorts. Ask us for your resort's exact plan: which restaurants and bars are covered, which drinks, and whether any excursion or spa credit is included.
Seaplanes fly only in daylight. If your flight lands late in the evening, you may need a night in Malé or Hulhumalé, or a resort reachable by speedboat. We plan this around your flight time.
Do not carry alcohol, pork products or religious material for others into the Maldives. Customs prohibits them and will confiscate them at the airport.
US dollars and international credit/debit cards are accepted at all resorts. Carry some USD in small notes for tips; Indian rupees are not commonly accepted.
Use reef-safe sunscreen, and do not stand on or touch coral while snorkelling. After scuba diving, wait 18–24 hours before flying, including seaplane transfers.
Questions travellers ask
What does all-inclusive cover?

Is vegetarian food available?
Yes. Resort buffets always have vegetarian dishes, and most 5-star resorts have Indian chefs or can cook Indian vegetarian and Jain meals on request. Tell us at booking so we can inform the resort.
Is diving included?
No. Diving is optional and paid at the resort's dive centre. Certified divers can book boat dives, and non-divers can try a Discover Scuba session with an instructor. Bring your certification card and logbook if you have them.
Do Indians need a visa for the Maldives?
No advance visa is needed. You get a free tourist visa on arrival, normally for up to 30 days, if you have a valid passport, a return ticket, a confirmed resort booking and the IMUGA declaration QR code.
Are flights included?
No, the price covers the resort stay and transfers. We quote flights to Malé separately; there are direct flights from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi on several days a week.
