Highlights

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Arrive Singapore · Evening at Marina Bay — On arrival at Changi Airport, transfer to your hotel, which takes about 30 minutes. Hotel check-in is usually from 3 pm, and you get a welcome drink on arrival. In the evening, walk the Marina Bay waterfront to the Merlion and watch the free Spectra light and water show outside Marina Bay Sands. It usually runs at 8 pm and 9 pm, with an extra show on Friday and Saturday nights.
  2. City tour · Gardens by the Bay · Singapore Flyer — After breakfast, take a guided half-day city tour covering Merlion Park, the Civic District, Chinatown and Little India. Little India has many South Indian vegetarian restaurants for lunch, at your own expense. In the afternoon, visit Gardens by the Bay; entry to both the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest is included, and the Supertree Grove beside them is free. Ride the Singapore Flyer around…
  3. Universal Studios Singapore (full day) — After breakfast, transfer to Universal Studios on Sentosa Island, which takes about 20–30 minutes. The park usually opens at 10 am. Your day pass covers the rides and shows, while Express passes, lockers and food are extra. Some rides have height limits for children, so check them at the entrance. You return to the hotel in the evening.
  4. Sentosa Island attractions — After breakfast, head back to Sentosa Island for the attractions included in your package; the exact list is in your confirmed quote. Between attractions you can spend free time on Siloso or Palawan beach, and the island has food courts with vegetarian options. You return to the hotel in the evening after the last attraction.
  5. Singapore to Kuala Lumpur by road · Petronas Towers at night — Check out after breakfast and travel to Kuala Lumpur by coach. The trip is about 350 km and usually takes 6–7 hours, including Singapore exit and Malaysia entry checks at Woodlands or Tuas. Keep your passport and Malaysia Digital Arrival Card handy for the checks. The coach or flight ticket between the two cities is priced separately in your quote. A 1-hour flight is also possible, but with…
  6. Kuala Lumpur · Free day or optional Batu Caves & Genting tour — The day is free, with no tour booked. One option, at extra cost, is a Batu Caves and Genting Highlands day tour. Batu Caves is about 30 minutes from the city, with 272 colourful steps up to a Hindu temple inside a limestone cave; cover your knees and shoulders there. Genting Highlands is about 1 hour further on, reached by the Awana Skyway cable car, and is noticeably cooler, so carry a light…
  7. Departure from Kuala Lumpur — Check out after breakfast. The transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) takes about 1 hour, or up to 1.5 hours in traffic. Plan to reach the airport 3 hours before your international flight.

Exclusions

Visa & entry

This trip covers two countries with different rules. Singapore requires a visa for Indian passport holders. You cannot apply yourself: a Singapore-authorised visa agent in India files the application, and we arrange this for you. Approved visas are issued as an e-Visa, and processing usually takes 3–5 working days after submission. Apply with the passport you will travel on. Before landing, fill in the free SG Arrival Card online within 3 days before arrival. Malaysia currently allows Indian passport holders visa-free visits of up to 30 days, under an exemption that runs until 31 December 2026. Fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 3 days before entry; this applies even when you enter by road from Singapore. Malaysian immigration may ask for your return ticket, hotel booking and proof of funds. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel. For travel from January 2027, check Malaysia's rules with us at booking.

Good to know

Questions travellers ask

Do we need visas for both countries?

Singapore needs a visa, which we arrange through an authorised visa agent as an e-Visa. Malaysia is currently visa-free for Indians for stays of up to 30 days, until 31 December 2026, but you must fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card online before entering.

How do we travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur?

By coach, which takes about 6–7 hours including both border checks. A 1-hour flight is also possible. The ticket between the two cities is quoted separately. The new Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link train is not yet open; it is now expected in early 2027.

Is Legoland Malaysia included?

No. Legoland is in Johor, just across the border from Singapore. We can add it on request with an overnight stay in Johor Bahru, which changes the nights and the price.

Is this trip suitable for small children and seniors?

Yes. Universal Studios, Sentosa and Gardens by the Bay suit all ages, and most places have lifts and ramps. The road journey to Kuala Lumpur is a long day, so seniors may prefer the flight option.

Will we get vegetarian food?

Yes. Hotel breakfasts include vegetarian options, and both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur have many South Indian vegetarian restaurants.
