Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive Jeju · Yongduam Rock and Dongmun Market — Arrive at Jeju International Airport on your international flight. Immigration may interview you about your plans, so keep printed copies of your return ticket, hotel bookings and this itinerary handy. Our representative meets you after customs and drives you to your hotel in Jeju City, about 10–20 minutes away; a welcome drink is served on arrival. In the late afternoon, see Yongduam, the…
East Jeju · Seongsan Ilchulbong, haenyeo divers and Manjanggul lava tube — A guided day on the east side. Drive about 1 hour to Seongsan Ilchulbong and climb the stairs to the crater rim, about 25–30 minutes up. Near the base, watch the haenyeo, Jeju's women free-divers, at their show when it runs (usually early afternoon, weather permitting), then walk the Seopjikoji headland. On the way back, visit the Manjanggul lava tube, where a 1 km section reopened in May 2026…
Hallasan trail · Jusangjeolli cliffs · move to Seogwipo — Check out after breakfast and drive up the 1100 Road to Hallasan (about 40 minutes). Fit walkers can hike the Yeongsil trail to Witse Oreum, about 3.7 km one way and 4–5 hours return, through pine forest and past cliffs; no reservation is needed, but there are cut-off times for starting, so we leave early. The summit trails need advance online booking and a full day, so they are not part of this…
Waterfalls of Seogwipo · O'sulloc tea fields and Hyeopjae beach — A guided day in the south and west. Start at Jeongbang Waterfall, which drops straight into the sea, then Cheonjiyeon Waterfall at the end of a short forest walk, and the three-tier Cheonjeyeon Waterfall near Jungmun. After lunch on your own, drive west (about 40 minutes) to the O'sulloc Tea Museum and its green tea fields; the museum is free, and the green tea ice cream is popular. End the day…

Visa & entry
Indian passport holders can enter Jeju Island without a visa for tourism, normally for up to 30 days, under Jeju's special visa-free scheme. This applies only if you fly into Jeju International Airport directly from abroad; you may connect in another country, such as Singapore or Bangkok, but not at Seoul, Busan or any other Korean airport. You must stay on Jeju; travelling to mainland Korea needs a regular Korean visa. Indians do not need a K-ETA for Jeju. Entry is not guaranteed: in February 2026 the Embassy of India in Seoul advised travellers to carry printed copies of a confirmed return ticket, hotel bookings for the whole stay, a day-wise itinerary, proof of funds and travel insurance, with a passport valid for at least 6 months. Complete the free Korea e-Arrival Card online before landing.
Good to know
There are no direct flights from India to Jeju. You connect through another country, such as Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Hong Kong, depending on the season. Do not book a route through Seoul or Busan.
Immigration officers at Jeju may ask about your plans, your job and your funds. Answer clearly and show the printed documents; we provide a day-wise itinerary and hotel confirmations on our letterhead.
The Hallasan trails have start cut-off times and close in bad weather or heavy snow. Wear proper walking shoes, and carry water, snacks and a rain jacket.
Vegetarian food is limited on Jeju, as many dishes use pork, seafood or fish stock. There are a few Indian restaurants in Jeju City and Seogwipo, and convenience stores have bread, fruit and instant rice.
Some sights close on one day a month or in bad weather (the haenyeo show depends on the sea). We arrange the days around these closures.
Jeju is windy, and the weather changes quickly. Carry a light windproof jacket in every season.
Questions travellers ask
Do Indians really not need a visa for Jeju?
Yes, for a tourist visit you do not need a visa, if you fly into Jeju directly from abroad and stay only on Jeju. Immigration can still refuse entry, so carry your return ticket, hotel bookings, itinerary, bank statements and travel insurance as printed copies.
Can we add Seoul to this trip?
Only with a regular Korean visa. With a visa, we can add Seoul nights and a domestic flight; without one, you cannot leave Jeju for the mainland.
Do we have to climb Hallasan?
No. The Yeongsil trail is optional for fit walkers. Others can visit the 1100 Altitude Wetland by road, which has an easy boardwalk.
Is vegetarian food available?
Somewhat limited. Hotel breakfasts have bread, eggs and fruit, and the selected dinners can be arranged at Indian restaurants. We share a list of vegetarian-friendly places for lunches.
Are flights included?
No. Flights reach Jeju with one connection, usually via Singapore or Bangkok. We check the routing to make sure it qualifies for visa-free entry and quote it separately.
